NFL signings from USFL tracker: Here's who made 53-man rosters

Aug 30

The inaugural season of the USFL provided football fans with plenty of thrilling moments. It also provided a wealth of talent for the NFL.

In fact, many players signed with NFL teams for training camp and preseason action.

One of the biggest to make a splash was USFL MVP KaVontae Turpin, who sparked his Dallas Cowboys to a preseason victory over the Los Angeles Chargers by returning both a kickoff and a punt for touchdowns.

Even after NFL teams trimmed their rosters to 53 on Tuesday, the USFL is still well-represented ahead of Week 1. As of this writing, 15 USFL players have stuck with their NFL teams — including Turpin — and seven of the eight USFL franchises have at least one player on 53-man rosters.
