Gimme 3

The Generals got on the board first, looking comfortable in their first drive as they took an early 3-0 lead on a FG from Nick Sciba.

Stay persistent!

After a 50-year field goal bought Michigan a 6-3 lead before halftime, Josh Lovehooked up with Trey Quinn on a short slant over the middle to give Michigan the advantage.

Right into the bread basket

De'Andre Johnson has had both his running and passing skills on full display throughout the season, and he hooked up with one of his favorite targets to pull New Jersey within two, 12-10.

I'm loving it

Leave it to Josh Love to make clutch plays for his squad. After plowing past the yardage markers for a first down, he rattled off a dime to  to extend Michigan's lead, 19-10.

The vibes were immaculate for Michigan following the TD, and this snippet from Reggie Corbin gave viewers a hilarious peek behind the curtain of the team's strategy.

Don't count us out

Johnson went down for Jersey in the third quarter, but Kyle Lauletta stepped in smoothly in relief, and he did his best to bring his troupe back into the matchup, finding Moore in the back of the end zone for his second score.

I am legend

Joe Walker's Twitter handle has the word "legendary" in it. And he ripped off a legendary run to seal to the deal for Michigan late in the fourth, busting loose for a 68-yard TD. You just have to see the bulldozing move he hit a defender with en route to the end zone.

Michigan's defense held up through the final whistle, and the team collected a crucial 25-22 win to keep its playoff hopes intact.
